Is Virtual Reality real?

I have spoken about people making a dichotomy of real and virtual. I have made my position clear. I have “told it like it is”. I have invented rvr. Everything is linked now. You post to twitter it ends up on DIGG and Facebook. You favourite a youtube video it ends up on bebo. You post to facebook and yahoo picks it up. Blogs? OMG if i blog anything and click on share it goes to the following :

Twitter, My Space, DiGG, Facebook, Yahoo, Google, stumbleupon, buzzup, de.lio.us, all my 10 other blogs, all my 30 widgets, Blue Mars, ….if there is a god (s)he gets a copy

and no doubt someone somewhere is transmitting this out into space where it will travel on into eternity…. Do you see? Everything is linked now. You cannot distinguish between what is real and what is virtual. The human in me says it is all real. The buddhist says it is all virtual. Whatever the perspecive, it is all one.
I leave you with the tweet I made 8 hours before the world press took it up ” No No Go Go http://OnlyDragons eat Antonomc hamsters ” . See if you can understand the 52 characters (I always thought that 142 characters was way too many.)

I twittered “No No Go Go http://OnlyDragons.com eat Antonomic Hamsters” because BBC Radio 2 said Go Go Hamsters are in trouble because of levels of Antonomy . Dragons Tongues have to be Flame retardant one of the uses of antinomy Go Go Hamsters are Hot for Christmas. Where is the news? I cannot find a link to bit.ly it. this is not a paradox thats Antimony.

Lie down, take your shoes off and relax. Press the start button when you are ready. The lights will dim. You can press the stop button at any time. The session will last an eternity. Well, she said 15 minutes but in the less well=travelled corners of the mind….Time?…as Albert said “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.”. It’s all specially relative. Only a theory of course. I found this too “If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present.” Wittgenstein. As you may of heard I have a new カメラ . So the assistant took this picture of me and The Egg:

I laid down and pressed the start button. The blue lights slowly dimmed to black and twinkling lights appeared star-like. Mellow music softly subdued and small vibrations started around my calves, slowly travelled to my thighs as well, then my back as well ~ massaging. Hmmmm very nice. my mind, my saviour and curse was relaxed. Ideas began to pop into my head. I have never successfully turned off the mind despite years and years of meditation. Nor controlled it….well that’s a lie. I do control it. I direct it. I steer it away from choppy seas and storms. Buddha says “The mind is the forerunner of all conditions” and this is the basic tenet of Buddhism. As Wittgenstein said “eternal life belongs to those who live in the present” Buddha nodded. So, the mind in the present equals timelessness. The Egg tries to encourage this. I hope this is making sense….

The past is wallowed in, the future aspired to, feared too / trepidation. Rarely are we here, now; me and The Egg however are. The mind, my mind, smiles. That is the only way to describe it. What is happiness? What my mind thinks it is. Literally. No past regrets nor I wish, neither I hope, omly me content with The Egg. Only me. We do not need The Egg. It is artifice. {I am rambling a bit, gomen nasai} But it is difficult to be in this timelessness without help.

While writing this I am alone in the Twinity Reggea Club “Knock knock knocking on heavens door” . When it finished I teleported to Esoterik, sat down in front of the Buddha and added Wittgenstein’s message to the guest book.

I wasn’t sleepy in The Egg, not a bit of it. Just soooo relaxed. Had one or two Great Ideas which I will share in the fullness of timelessness with you. I made two decisions, one to buy a 4 gig memory card and also four more rechargeable batteries for the カメラ. Then the music wound down and the blue lights came up. I got, quite unsteadily to my feet, put on my shoes and pressed the door-open button. I swayed in the doorway and said to the assistant “That was never 15 minutes”

you and The Egg can be experienced at Sanctuary Spa, Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore for less than two hours work at minimum wage. It is Friday so I didn’t mind splashing out.
